Kerry has been in the massage business for 22 years and after all this time still has the passion for health and healing. She went into business to help people generally feel their best at all times. She first experienced massage in her 20’s and immediately recognised the ongoing benefit, she decided she could help others through the rewarding list of secret health benefits that massage has to offer  for people’s health and wellbeing.

She continues to study all facets of health through massages. She encourages her staff, clients, family and friends to a better healthy life.

Michael has been involved in the Allied Health Industry for over 8 years and it is his love for helping people that led him to study Swedish massage.

His current role is Administration Coordinator & Management Assistant and he takes great pride in ensuring all ACT Remedial Therapy Massage clients have a welcoming and pleasurable experience, each time they visit the practice.

David Renton

David Renton

Massage Therapist

David is a creative and experienced architectural designer, as well as an energetic tactile therapist and body worker, with over 500 hours of clinical practice. Massage clients find him understanding of their physical and emotional needs, and highly competent to relieve pain and stress in a comfortable and confidential environment. David applies his knowledge and skills in a treatment plan tailored to clients’ specific requirements. Whether it is to deal with a recent injury, maintain flexibility and wellbeing, or simply a relaxing massage, they can be confident their needs will be met using a wide range of approaches and techniques.

David’s expertise covers modalities such as trigger point therapy, deep muscle therapy, myotherapy and lymphatic drainage, as well as sports, seniors, and pregnancy massage.

He has wide ranging interests including fitness, design, music and spirituality. He grew up in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, but has now made Canberra his established family home and workplace.

Sophia Wen

Sophia Wen

Massage Therapist

Sophia has a passion in massage therapy and strives for excellence in her craft. She completed her Certificate IV in Swedish massage and Diploma of Remedial Massage in Perth. Her objective for her clients is to is the client relieve from their muscle pain.

Sophia treats her clients through her knowledge and massage techniques. She specialises in, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, MFR and provides her clients with stretching techniques. During treatment she communicates with her clients at all times, as it helps her to gain feedback immediately so that she can adjust her massage technique when required. She is humbled knowing that people receive such great benefits from her treatment.

“Free from Pain” is Sophia’s mantra. It is the best reward for her when she is able to do this for her clients.

Sophia’s goal is to deliver treatment that helps achieve health and wellbeing for each client that comes into our practice.

Dee Phonkhet

Dee Phonkhet

Dee has 15 years of massage experience and has worked in Thailand and Canberra for most of her career.

Dee specialises in Thai, relaxation, remedial, reflexology and hot stone massage. Her hobbies include gardening, walking, meditation, yoga and swimming.

Giving the gift of massage to my clients is what brings me joy and satisfaction. It gives me immense pleasure to see my clients relaxed or free from pain after their appointment”

Dee is available for appointments on Thursdays and Saturdays.

Nick Wright

Nick has over 10 years of massage experience working in a range of physiotherapy, chiropractic, massage and well-being clinics and providing a mobile massage service, predominantly in the Canberra region.

Nick specialises in sport and remedial massage, deep muscular therapy, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and therapeutic relaxation massage.

In addition Nick has an Advanced Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapies, a Certificate in Fitness and a Bachelor of Science focusing on exercise physiology, bio-mechanics and anatomy. This helps Nick effectively tailor his massage to the client’s specific needs.

Ben Orro

Ben Orro

Massage Therapist

Ben completed his qualification in massage therapy at the Australian College of Massage in 2010. Since then he has worked in various chiropractic centres as well as massage centres building up his experience before starting at Remedial Massage in Manuka. He has recently started studying to be a physiotherapist at the University of Canberra. Ben is very passionate about making a positive difference to the health and wellbeing of every client he works with, and is always looking to improve and broaden his wide range of techniques to achieve this goal.

Stacey Fletcher

Stacey is a friendly professional remedial massage therapist. She gained her diploma of remedial massage from the Collage of Natural Therapies in Canberra in 2007. Stacey has worked at ACT Remedial Therapy Massage for 11 years.

Her experience and knowledge of all modalities in massage has been valuable to the practice and her clients. Stacey develops individual treatment plans for every client with the focus on pain reduction and muscle health. Stacey has a sports background; she boxed for 7 years and has coached boxing for 15 years. Her passion for the best possible outcome of the massage is her number one objective.

Bronson Mowatt

Bronson is a keen and driven therapist who is willing to help. He aims to relieve pain, restore and improve posture using a variety of techniques and exercises.

He underwent study the Canberra Institute of Technology in Bruce to earn a Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy. Bronson specializes in remedial and sports massage, trigger point therapy, therapeutic and relaxation, myofascial release, lymphatic drainage and pregnancy massage.
